About Elspeth Stewart

 BSc(Hons) Nutritional Therapy, Dip(CNE)MBANT
Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine

I had always been enthusiastic about the preparation and (more importantly) the eating of tasty food.  However, it was in my mid-twenties that I first became interested in nutrition and the concept of "food as medicine". This shift in awareness came about after the discovery of a personal health issue.

I started to learn about the impact that different foods can have on the body and changed my diet as a result.  I soon experienced profound improvements to my health and knew straight away that I had found a vocation that I truly felt passionate about.  I left my career in IT, retrained as a Nutritional Therapist and obtained a First Class honours degree through the Centre for Nutrition Education (CNE - Middlesex University).

I am a self-confessed nutrition geek but when it comes to helping my clients, dietary advice is only one part of the picture.  Coaching, which helps clients to put the new information into practice, makes up a significant part of my role and is extremely rewarding, for both the client and myself.

Helping someone achieve a better quality of life through skills which will last them a lifetime is satisfying and makes my job an absolute pleasure.  We all deserve to feel great and live long, healthy and prosperous lives.
